In 2016, I designed visual identity and developed two websites for inter-disciplinary artist and activist Shabnam Shabazi.
The visual identity project involved designing a logo, which the artist wanted to be based on the tattoo she has on her arm, as well as a business card, letterhead and compliments slip. The first website was a very simple portfolio site, showcasing the artist's video work, whereas the second website was meant to be presenting all the different strands of Shabnam's practice: video, performance and installation, objects, participation and education work. Additionally, the website was meant to reflect the artist's rich and creative personality, be artistic and playful, while informative and easy to navigate.
