In 2017, I created a website for Interlife Picture's FAKEPOTUS45 project.
FAKEPOTUS45 was a personal art driven highly satirical response to the reality of the 45th President of the United States (POTUS). The inspiration for the artist was watching a press conference when the President Elect refused to take a question from CNN, pointing to the correspondent and using the words "Fake News". The visual language of FAKEPOTUS45 was the appropriation of languages already developed by high profile American artists in the contemporary era, especially those using a combination of images and words in their practice, such as Ed Ruscha, Barbara Kruger and Richard Prince. However, those were merely reference points for the artist, as he was using his own images and words.
