At the end of 2024, I was commissioned by Profit advies to design the company logo.
Profit advies is a financial and consultancy centre, offering advisory services in different areas - from administration and accounting, tax and financial benefits, to social and translating services. The company works with both individuals and companies, collaborating with legal advisers and solicitors to offer the most comprehensive advice and support.
Because of the wide scope of work as well as the very diverse client base, the design of the logo was a challenge. Some of the company clients are immigrants who need basic help with applying for social benefits, and other clients are companies looking for optimising their financial operations. Therefore, Profit advies on one hand needs to convey the fact of being approachable and affordable (so as to appeal to the former client), as well as professional and experienced. And this had to be expressed through the design.
As always, simplicity is the best and together with the company founder, we chose a clean minimal look paired with a combination of two colours: a vivid dark pink and a muted navy blue. The former colour gives the logo a modern and friendly vibe, whereas the latter is associated with elegance and professionalism.
There were a few concepts exploring the idea and communication, consulting and creating new opportunities. The chosen concept is based on the idea of communication expressed through the use of “speech bubbles” that are discreetly inscribed in the letters P and a. In its full form, the logo contains the name and the graphic symbol (Pa), and in its shortened form, the graphic symbol, can be used in profile photos on social media, on gadgets such as badges, etc.
