In 2013-2015, I worked as a graphic designer and content editor for the Oaksmith Studio picture framers, designing promotional materials, writing blog posts on contemporary art and more technical aspects of framing, editing images and updating the website gallery, as well as managing the company’s social media platforms.
Run by two artists / designers, Oaksmith Studio was a picture framing workshop as well as a creative project studio with a strong bias towards conservation, presentation and experimentation. They loved art and craft, contrasted the handmade with the machinemade and were always on the look for current trends within a trade rich in tradition.
