In 2015, I was commissioned to design a logo for a UK-based "rhythmical extravaganza" theatre company founded by Stewart Pemberton.
Stewart Pemberton is a juggler, tap dancer, international performer and higher education teacher. He has performed around the world in theatres, festivals, tv and film, including Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Delhi, World Expo Shanghai, Mall Of The Emirates Dubai, Swamp Circus Ireland, The London Cabaret Society, Leicester Square Theatre, The Spiegeltent, CBBC The Slammer, and Warner Bros film "Sweeny Todd" directed by Tim Burton. Stewart performs an award nominated original act, bounce juggling with rhythm tap and is a regular solo artist at Cafe De Paris and The Savoy Hotel London. He combines the visual element of bounce ball juggling with the intricate rhythms of New York based tap dance and leaves the audience in wonder at the charm of this beautiful display of dexterity and musicality.
“A Beatboxer with Tap Shoes” – The Guardian
"Amazing! I have never see juggling like that, perfectly in time with the beats and amazing tap." Scott Mills
"The cast of five push the boat out and exploit a variety of talents to make this newly-devised show a mix of tunes, comedy and skill. (...) Stewart Pemberton delivers a knockout set of mesmerising tricks and combinations, constantly changing and evolving." – Helen Whitcher, This Is Cabaret
