Fly on the windscreen

This project is another meeting with Colin Z. Robertson and a personal interpretation of the famous song by Depeche Mode, which happens to be one of our favourite bands. I like the song’s memento mori juxtaposed with bouncy melodies and rhythm, but Colin and I decided to give the song a different tone, stripping it off its most catchy sounds. The artwork combines the sinister and morbid with grotesque and sketchy, and like with my other animation work, is all hand-drawn.
